The AT&T Hotel and Conference Center’s 30,000 square foot expansion is now open in downtown Austin.
The new addition includes the 15,000-square-foot Zlotnik Family Ballroom and 5,000 square feet of pre-function space. Nine meeting rooms and a banquet kitchen make up the remaining 10,000 square feet.
“We’re thrilled to be offering these new, innovative spaces that groups from all over the world can utilize,” said Ted Hibler, general manager of AT&T Hotel and Conference Center. “Whether learning, discussing or celebrating, we know the expansion will provide both guests and locals with a space they can use to collaborate and come together.”
The addition brings the total event space at the AT&T Hotel and Conference Center to 80,000 square feet, which includes 53 meeting rooms, accommodating up to 1,600 people.
The five-story meeting and event space has an abundance of natural light, and each floor features its own layout and outdoor green space, including a variety of terraces and lawn areas. From the building, visitors can enjoy panoramic views of downtown Austin and The University of Texas campus.
The AT&T Hotel and Conference Center is owned by The University of Texas and is located at the south entrance of campus, between the UT Tower and Texas State Capitol.
