The Hyatt Regency San Francisco top floor lounge has undergone a transformation introducing new high rise windows with 360 panoramic views designed by Looney & Associates.

The renovation was inspired by the San Francisco Bay and city skyline with modern architecture being reflected throughout the lounge.

I am insatiably curious and always keen to learn something new, but I find that I am surprised by the seemingly familiar more often than not. Case in point? The Palm restaurant in Philadelphia. This elegant steakhouse is tucked inside the landmark Hyatt at The Bellevue hotel. It exudes that classic steakhouse appeal – a dark wood bar, a buzzy “business is getting done here” ambience and professional male waiters sporting jackets.

Cooper River Park Restaurant Will Feature Famous Chef

Cooper River Park is receiving a $23 million dollar overhaul, encompassing 374 acres across multiple towns. The renovation will include updates to the health and wellbeing of the river, a new stadium, and a new restaurant. The group spearheading the project of adding a restaurant to the park includes restaurateurs Kevin Meeker and Mike DeBenedictis, architect John Ruiz, and representatives of the Camden County freeholders.

Lessons from Helen Mirren (Well, Kinda) on Planning a Group Dinner

I just came back from a screening of the delicious Hundred-Foot Journey, the Helen Mirren movie that opens later this month, about the rivalry between two restaurants in a small village in the South of France. When I received an invitation to celebrate "Black Truffle Friday" at Republique-one of my favorite new restaurants in LA-I marked the occasion on my calendar in big black Sharpie letters.
