Signature Drink: Chamomile Honeysuckle Martini

INGREDIENTS:

1.5 oz. vodka
1.5 oz. chamomile tea
.25 oz. local honey syrup
.25 oz. lemon juice

DIRECTIONS:
1. Mix all ingredients together in shaker.
2. Shake and serve in chilled martini glass.
3. Enjoy!

Fab Floral Trends for Fall

Fall is a great time of year to experiment with different floral designs. Here are our three favorite trends for autumn 2015.
 
1. Textured Pieces: Unusual elements such as succulents, feathers and staves make floral arrangements more linear and dynamic. Foliage is also an important factor in creating more textured bouquets, while incorporating more stems adds a fun and contemporary flair.
 

Winter Is in the Air

All planners know the importance of looking ahead—the earlier the details fall into place, the less stress one has to deal with as the event nears.

A smattering of event venues have started holding receptions decorated for holiday parties to give planners an idea of what a holiday event would look like there and to have soirees booked far in advance. We know Christmas in July sounds crazy, but it really is a planner’s dream. With all the heat and sunshine, winter feels light-years away.

Signature Drink - Colonial Peach

INGREDIENTS:
—1 oz. Buffalo Trace
—.5 oz. Peach Black Tea Cordial*
—.75 oz. grapefruit juice
—3 oz. sparkling wine

DIRECTIONS:
1. Place all ingredients but wine into shaker.
2. Shake vigorously with ice.
3. Strain into flute, then top with sparkling wine and garnish with mint.

* Steep 4 ounces of peach liqueur with 2 ounces of black tea. Fold into 750 milliliters of peach liqueur. Rebottle for use.

Signature Drink - Texas Valentine

INGREDIENTS:
—1.5 oz. vodka
—.5 oz. St. Germain elderflower liqueur
—.5 oz. velvet falernum liqueur
—2 dashes rhubarb bitters
—1.5 oz. rose water
—3-5 rose petals

DIRECTIONS:
1. Muddle rose petals with rose water.
2. Add all ingredients to a shaker.
3. Shake and pour over ice.

Signature Drink - Somebody's Mother's Chocolate Caramel Martini

INGREDIENTS:
—1 shot Stoli Vanilla Vodka
—1 shot Godiva Chocolate Liqueur
—1 shot Somebody’s Mother’s Caramel Sauce
—1 dollop whipped cream

INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Swirl Somebody’s Mother’s Caramel Sauce around the inside rim of a martini glass.
2. Fill shaker with ice and mix ingredients.
3. Shake well and pour into the martini glass.
4. Top with a dollop of whipped cream.
