Lush Dessert Bar serves as a modern dessert shop for gifting, treating and celebrating in the heart of Dallas. Nichole Kinchion opened the business as Crav Alcohol Infused Desserts in 2010 in Wichita, Kansas. Kinchion relocated to Dallas and in 2017 opened as Lush Dessert Bar. “I moved to Dallas in 2015 and discovered that it was a fantastic foodie city. After getting the lay of the land, the timing was right to open Lush,” says Kinchion.
Inspired by classic cocktails and modern mixology, Lush offers alcohol-infused desserts, as well as virgin selections modeled after nostalgic childhood drinks. Popular flavors include Margarita Madness, made with tequila-infused white cake, fresh lime frosting and sea salt, or Hot Buttered Rum, which is made with butter cake infused with rum, butterscotch schnapps frosting, and wafer crumble.
Virgin options include the Root Beer Float, Very Berry Lemonade and Hot Mama Hot Chocolate. Lush cupcakes are available as Shot Jar gourmet cupcakes, which are layered in a Mason jar with frostings, luscious fillings and toppings, and as “Cupcake Shotz,” which are decadent bitesized mini cupcakes available in a variety of mouthwatering flavors.
Lush provides catering for personal celebrations such as wedding or baby showers, birthday parties and graduations. The company also caters corporate events like business meetings, retirement parties, conferences, team-building events and more. For corporate clients, Lush can customize its desserts with wrap-around labels, top labels and individual note cards.
“Our alcohol-infused desserts are a novel idea, while still providing our customers with high quality, amazing cupcakes,” says Kinchion. “Lush also offers tasty, moist cupcakes in virgin or nonalcoholic flavors. Our cupcakes in a jar make it possible for us to ship our wonderful desserts all over the nation.”
