Be One of the First to Host a Meeting or Event at New & Renovated Venues

With strong demand for hotel and meeting space, venues across the state are opening, renovating or rethinking their off erings for groups and events. The following options are new or newly renovated venues for meetings and events in 2017.

The Hotel Contessa and Briscoe Western Art Museum

Venue with a View: Paramour

Paramour, which opened in August 2015, was designed by owner Martin Phipps to be an oasis in the Texas sky with attention to detail and topnotch service at the heart of the concept. The 8,000-square-foot property was one of San Antonio’s first rooftop venues and provides panoramic views of the city’s skyline. The bar is located just north of downtown, atop the Phipps Office building and overlooks the River Walk at 9th Street and Arden Grove.

The Perot Museum Provides a One-of-a-Kind Setting for Group Events

From beautiful birds to giant gems, the Perot Museum of Nature and Science in Dallas provides a truly unique venue for any meeting or group event. This holiday season, the museum is sweetening the deal with a lineup of festive events, including the “Birds of Paradise” and “Giant Gems of the Smithsonian” exhibits, the Winter Wonderland Sleepover and extended hours over winter break.
