Austin’s Dulce Vida Tequilas has added 70-proof lime tequila and grapefruit options to its retail mix. The fruit-infusions join a new 80-proof portfolio that has been added to the company’s organic blue agave Los Altos tequila. “These cocktail-ready, category disrupters are providing healthier cocktail solutions,” says Eric Dopkins, founder and CEO of Milestone Brands, parent company of Dulce Vida Tequilas.

Dulce Vida, formed in 2009, produces its tequila in the village of San Ignacio Cerro Gordo at Campanario and finishes the award-winning tequilas stateside.

Built at the turn of the 20th century, Mattie’s at Green Pastures was once the estate of Henry and Martha “Mattie” Miner Faulk. In 1946, Faulk’s daughter Mary and Mary’s husband Chester Koock opened the fine dining restaurant Green Pastures at the address, and over the years, they hosted lavish parties and grand occasions for celebrities, governors and visiting dignitaries. Mary Koock also catered many parties at the Lyndon B. Johnson Ranch.
