Cavalry Court, a 141-room vintage-inspired hotel is set to open this November. It will be located in College Station’s newest community, Century Square. The 60-acre location is still in development but will offer retail, restaurants, entertainment, office space and apartments all within the Brazos Valley.

The design of Cavalry Court, a concept created by Valencia Group, is heavily inspired by the military aesthetic popular in the ‘50s and ‘60s. Developed by Rottet studio, the hotel is meant to feel traditional with a modern twist.

“Like the motor courts of yesteryear, Cavalry Court’s aesthetic coupled with Texas A&M cadet history uniquely captures the true essence of College Station, of Texas, and embraces a bit of Americana,” says Doyle A. Graham, Jr., president, Valencia Group.

Cavalry Court features multiple amenities including on-site Texan restaurant, The Canteen, food truck The Track Shack, custom bedding with leather headboards, Egyptian cotton sheets, outdoor courtyard, swimming pool and 6,000 square feet of event space.

Remote working has become mainstream with the continued presence of COVID-19. While many people have welcomed the new normal of working from home, others miss the separation of spaces, as many corporate offices have remained closed since March. Without the daily obligation to go into the office, professionals have the ability to travel more freely. Hotels across the country are creating “work from hotel” deals–a play on “work from home”–so people can explore new places while still fitting in their 9 to 5.

Two Valencia Hotel Group properties in Bryan College Station—The George, and Cavalry Court—recently partnered with Dorm Dish to help Aggie students who were in need of meals.

Coming to the historic Fort Worth Stockyards this fall, Hotel Drover is a 200-room Autograph Collection boutique hotel and rustic resort. Named for the legendary drovers, who roamed the Texas plains for decades moving livestock over long distances, Hotel Drover is a celebration of the stockyards’ Western legacy. The property will include 40,000 square feet of indoor “rustic luxe” and outdoor meeting and event space.
