• Dan Paradiso, CMP, named Benchmark’s Director of Sales & Marketing

Benchmark Resorts & Hotels, a global hospitality company, has appointed Dan Paradiso director of sales & marketing for The Kartrite Resort & Indoor Waterpark. The Benchmark Resorts & Hotels property, located in Monticello, New York, is set to open on 1,600 acres that house the site of the Resorts World Catskills entertainment complex.

“I am very pleased to welcome Dan to The Kartrite,” says David Kohlasch, general manager for Benchmark. "He brings important sales leadership skills to our property, and significant experience within our resort destination as well as its feeder markets. He is a welcome addition to our executive team.”

Paradiso earned his bachelor's degree in Hotel, Restaurant and Tourism Management from East Stroudsburg University where he graduated summa cum laude. He earned his Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) designation from the Events Industry Council.

Paradiso is an experienced hotel sales and marketing executive with nearly 20 years in the hospitality industry. His previous experience includes time as global director, memberships east for Club Quarters Hotels. Prior to this position Paradiso served as director of sales & marketing for Millennium Hotels & Resorts at ONE UN New York.

Paradiso has also served as president of the New York chapter of Meeting Professionals International as well as a past board member of the Greater New York chapter of the Hospitality Sales and Marketing Association International. Paradiso has also taught as a former adjunct hospitality instructor at the Institute of Culinary Education.
