The Fort Worth Convention & Visitors Bureau (FWCVB) recently unveiled a new services microsite for meeting planners due to increased meeting attendance and a high number of requests. FortWorth.com/Plan offers tools and tips that allow clients to plan and promote a meeting seamlessly.

“We wanted to create an online environment that is a one-stop shop for our customers,” said Nannette Eiland, FWCVB director of services. “The number of meetings serviced by the FWCVB has increased 28% in the past five years and we expect that number to continue to grow.”

The new site would offer clients with the exact tools for success along with appealing content to get their attendees excited about visiting the Fort Worth area.  Services of the new microsite include:

·         Easy to navigate tools menu

·         New marketing materials

·         Social media tips and best practices

·         New high-resolution destination photography

·         A “responsive” design that automatically fits any size device

The City of Forth Worth has also begun discussions with developers to add a new convention center hotel downtown in a response to increased convention and hotel bookings. Meeting planners are encouraged to share and tweet their thoughts about the new site to @VisitFortWorth with the hashtag #SeeFortWorth.
