The Westin Galleria Dallas is ready for wedding season

Spring means many different things to Texans, but to thousands of couples each year it means just one thing: weddings.

The Westin Galleria Dallas is situated in the Galleria Dallas mixed-use complex and spends most of spring concentrating on bridal luncheons, rehearsal dinners, wedding ceremonies and receptions. The property completed a multimillion dollar renovation in 2016, and event spaces now feature more natural light and soft colors, which can complement a variety of bridal color palettes.

Convening Leaders Flocked to Austin

Earlier this month, The Professional Convention Management Association hosted their 2017 Convening Leaders Conference in Austin, Jan. 9–11.  

“We are thrilled to host convening leaders for the first time in Austin,” says Tom Noonan, president and CEO , Austin CVB. “Austin has become a premier destination for meeting, conventions and leisure business and we are confident that we will see return business from the PCMA attendees.”

The conference attracted about 4,500 attendees and is estimated to bring in around $11 million in economic return.

PINSTACK Rolls Across North Texas

PINSTACK Bowl of Plano, is a 50,000-square-foot entertainment venue featuring a variety of indoor games, activities and a full-service restaurant, bar and private dining area. The restaurant offers features local and regional cuisine. The facility is operated by Entertainment Properties Group, Inc., and the unique concept features a 28-lane bowling facility with lane-side food and beverage service and a VIP bowling area. Additional activities include videogames, bumper cars, a two-level laser tag arena, a high ropes course and a climbing wall.
