• Hilton Americas-Houston Receives 2016 Hilton Brand Award

The Hilton Americas-Houston recently accepted the 2016 Hilton Brand Award with the honor of Award of Excellence—one of only five Hilton hotels to do so and its sixth consecutive year.

Awards are handed out to those hotels that portray the highest level of quality and service across their brand.

Boasting largest number of guest rooms, ballrooms and hotel meeting space in the city, the Hilton Americas-Houston also features the most technologically advanced services available under one roof. The hotel offers 1,200 guest rooms, 91,500 square feet of meeting space, restaurants, lobby bars, a Starbucks, and a full-service spa and health club.


The Nelson Family Life Foundation, established by the Nelson family, owners of Kalahari Resorts and Conventions, has committed to donating $1 million over the next five years to Texas-based non-profit organizations. The first financial distribution will take place on Saturday, August 14, with "Sculpting the Future," and represents the foundation's first major

According to a survey commissioned by the American Hotel & Lodging Association (AHLA), frequent travelers feel safer when hotels adhere to AHLA's Stay Safe guidelines, which detail cleaning protocols for hotels during the COVID-19 pandemic.
