Many facilities have free parking and free wireless connectivity, like Plano Event Center offering 86,400 square feet of event space, as well as in-house catering and audio-visual support.

Plano has long been a walkable destination thanks to the Shops at Legacy and its anchor meetings hotel, the Dallas/Plano Marriott at Legacy Town Center, which is within walking distance to several restaurants and various shops.

Now, even more options are available as Legacy West sits just across from The Shops at Legacy. This “city within a city” is the largest mixed use destination in North Texas and is a great place to meet, shop, dine, and stay. The 255-acre development boasts plenty of open-air high-end retail, restaurants, and an anchor meetings hotel, Renaissance Dallas at Plano Legacy West.

Across from the Hilton Dallas/Plano Granite Park hotel sits a 30,000 square foot restaurant park called The Boardwalk where attendees can enjoy eateries featuring a French tea room, gourmet biscuits, and even a local brewery.

For those who can’t decide on where to dine, Legacy Food Hall has it all. In this one-of-a-kind artisanal food hall at Legacy West, visitors can wander over 20 stalls to meet local purveyors and sample everything from lobster rolls and sushi to old fashioned hamburgers and duck fat fried chicken. There is also has an on-site brewery and an outdoor entertainment stage. Legacy Hall was even named the #2 best new food hall in the nation by USA Today in 2019.

The historic Austin hotel, The Driskill, has appointed Nori Meisner to its staff as historic tour guide and special events concierge. In her new role, Meisner will bring to life the stories of the hotel, which was built by cattle baron Colonel Jesse Driskill in 1886. Among the many memories she’ll share with guests on the history tour is the first date between former President Lyndon B. Johnson and his wife, Lady Bird. The two met over breakfast on that fateful day.
