The Magnolia Hotel Houston, A Tribute Portfolio Hotel, recently completed a multimillion-dollar renovation of all public spaces including the lobby, second floor restaurant and meeting space, third floor meeting space, public restrooms, 23rd-floor fitness center and outdoor pool deck. Work on the renovation wrapped in December 2017. The hotel’s 314 guest rooms and 23 corridors are scheduled for remodel beginning this summer. The Magnolia Hotel Houston features more than 16,000 square feet of event space, including the 2,880-square-foot Magnolia Ballroom and the 2,200-square-foot Sterling Ballroom, and can accommodate up to 300 people. A suspended grand stairway connects the Conference Center with The Lounge for additional breakout space and meeting rooms.

“The renovations embrace our historic building’s roots from when it was built in 1926. Once the Houston Post-Dispatch building, the tallest skyscraper at the time, subtle touch points hint at the printing history,” says Sarah Treadway, president and co-CEO of Magnolia Hotels. “Moments are revealed in the typewriter keys hidden in the lobby, inkwell artwork behind the front desk, and our new palette of blackened metal, caramel and steel blue. Travelers seeking approachable luxury will be immersed in creative nuances in all public spaces coupled with our associates’ genuine Texas hospitality.”
