Located on the edge of the University of Texas at Austin campus, just minutes from downtown Austin, The AT&T Hotel and Conference Center now offers personalized iPads in each guest room, allowing guests to do everything from order room service to explore the city of Austin, all with the touch of a finger. And the tech doesn’t stop there.

The AT&T Hotel and Conference Center meeting rooms are equipped with high-definition laser projectors, high-speed bandwidth (300mb up and 300mb down), wired and wireless internet connectivity, ethernet data ports and built-in audio-visual capabilities. The venue’s 300-seat amphitheater has a 12-panel ultra-clear digital multimedia wall with screen segmentation, picture-in-picture and other video capabilities. The Center also has a stateof-the-art telepresence technology that enables conference or meeting participants to collaborate face to face, nationally or globally, with up to 48 locations. Now that’s a meeting planner’s paradise.

Every gathering at the ranch is steeped in the history and legends of Cowtown.

If there is a better hair-of-the-dog drink than a bloody mary, we sure don’t know what it is. Visit Beaumont shared its recipe for a tasty Sunday brunch cocktail, and they even made it for eight, so you can treat your friends!

Born and raised in Bryan, about 90 miles east of Village of Salado, Chadley Hollas, Village of Salado’s director of tourism, says he came to the town with one goal: to help Salado become Texas’ best small destination. His favorite thing about his adopted hometown is the people. “They are quirky, creative and hospitable—a neat combination that makes for many good conversations,” says Hollas.
