Margaritaville Lake Resort, Lake Conroe has appointed Jennifer Perkins to its event management team. Previously, she served as the tennis and fitness manager at The Club at Carlton Woods in The Woodlands.

Margaritaville Lake Resort also has promoted Peggy Bennett from retail manager to events manager. Bennett has been with the resort since it opened, managing the retail department, including inventory management, promotion, and training and scheduling staff.

Greg Pawlowski has been named executive chef of il Modo. The restaurant is located within The Harper in Fort Worth. Pawlowski studied at the Culinary Institute of America in New York before going on to work under Wolfgang Puck. Prior to joining il Modo, he was employed by Westin Hotels & Resorts and W Hotels.

The iconic Reunion Tower in downtown Dallas will soon welcome a new restaurant, Crown Block steakhouse. Reunion Tower restaurants have been renown over the years for their slowly rotating view of the city. However, owners and husband-wife business partners Kim Canteenwalla and Elizabeth Blau have chosen to keep the dining area stationary. The previous restaurant, Wolfgang Puck’s Five Sixty, spun 360 degrees, but it closed in 2020 during the pandemic.
