What are some of Eventrio’s outstanding features for meeting/event planners?

The Westin Galleria Dallas is ready for wedding season

Spring means many different things to Texans, but to thousands of couples each year it means just one thing: weddings.

The Westin Galleria Dallas is situated in the Galleria Dallas mixed-use complex and spends most of spring concentrating on bridal luncheons, rehearsal dinners, wedding ceremonies and receptions. The property completed a multimillion dollar renovation in 2016, and event spaces now feature more natural light and soft colors, which can complement a variety of bridal color palettes.

Austin CVB and Professional Convention Management Association Supported Sammy’s House

The Austin Conventions and Visitor’s Bureau and the Professional Convention Management Association hosted an event to support Sammy’s House, a nonprofit organization that helps children with medical or developmental issues.

The event—Hospitality Helping Hands—sold 150 volunteer spots. During it, volunteers worked on projects like playground repair, yard maintenance, toy sorting, cleaning classrooms and more to improve the facilities of the daycare.

San Antonio Named One Of the Top Markets For Meetings And Events

San Antonio landed the top spot on Meetings and Conventions magazine’s Top 20 Meeting Cities in 2016 list.

The city has many venues for meeting planners. Hotel Contessa, a AAA Four Diamond hotel, has partnered with The Briscoe Western Art Museum to build a unique Texan experience for their guests.

Austin CVB, Professional Convention Management Association Education Foundation Raises Money for Good Cause

The Austin Convention and Visitors Bureau worked with help from the Professional Convention Management Association Education Foundation to raise $25,000 for the Health Alliance for Austin Musicians.

The funds were raised during Party with a Purpose, a charitable event held during the 2017 Convening Leaders Conference. It will help to provide access to health care for Austin’s low income and uninsured musicians.

This year, Austin CVB partnered with Austin City Limits Live at The Moody Theater and hosted the largest PWAP event in history.

$10 Million Renovation Planned for San Antonio’s Hotel Valencia Riverwalk

San Antonio’s Riverwalk is one of my favorite places to visit. Even if I’m in San Antonio for meetings, I always find time to stroll along the Riverwalk and take in the sites: a sidewalk café, a passing riverboat, public art glimpsed from under a Riverwalk bridge. Another favorite stop is Hotel Valencia Riverwalk. For the past 14 years of the boutique hotel’s operation, I’ve come to know its sleek and modern style—and this is all about to change. The hotel is being redesigned by internationally acclaimed architect and designer, Lauren Rottet.
