Situated between the Deep Eddy Pool and Deep Eddy Cabaret in Austin sits a 1968 Airstream and bar that serves as the perfect location for Pool Burger. The vintage burger trailer off ers customers eight all-natural burgers, including a house-made veggie patty, crinkle cut fries, Tahitian vanilla and homemade dark chocolate soft serve, and a separate fully stocked bar devoted solely to Tiki drinks.

In addition to the classic beef and cheese combo, visitors can find savory combinations like the Blue Hawaiian, which features griddled pineapple, bacon, Thousand island dressing and crumbled blue cheese, or the Deep End, which is a triple pool burger with Swiss cheese, bacon, fresh jalapenos and dijonaisse. The bar at Pool Burger offers a variety of beer, including Negra Modela and Red Stripe Jamaican Lager, wines and classic Tiki drinks such as the frozen Hurricane, Mai Tai and Singapore Sling.

Pool Burger is located at 2315 Lake Austin Boulevard, and is a partnership between Will Bridges (a partner in several Austin hot spots, including the Deep Eddy Cabaret), Tom Moorman and Larry McGuire, both of McGuire Moorman Hospitality, which owns and operates Clark’s Oyste r Bar, June’s All Day café and bar, and Elizabeth Street Café. The restaurant uses freshly baked buns with hormone and antibiotic-free beef from Peeler Farms in Floresville, Texas.

“Pool Burger is a great event space. It is easy to book the entire Tiki burger bar at an affordable rate for a fun, easy and relaxed environment. Guests can enjoy island music from an on-site DJ, an array of burgers with veggie options and Tiki cocktails. The experience is very versatile, as you can spend all day swimming at Deep Eddy Pool and then head up to Pool Burger in your swimsuit and finish off the night with great food, music and soft serve. The space is open to everyone at any time of day and offers a unique Austin vibe,” says Fallon Allison, events director for Pool Burger.
