JW Marriott San Antonio Hill Country Resort and Spa’s restaurant, Cibolo Moon, is the first T-certified (“t” as in tequila) restaurant in Texas. The restaurant received the “Award T Recognition” from the Consejo Regulador del Tequila. As part of the recognition, the Cibolo Moon staff has been trained on tequila history, guidelines and production, as well as agave cultivation and harvesting. Try this tasty margarita recipe—complete with an extra kick—courtesy of Cibolo.

INGREDIENTS

–1.5 oz. strawberry jalapeño tequila

–0.5 oz. Patrón Citrónge

–1 oz. fresh lime juice

–1 oz. agave nectar

–Lime wedge and jalapeño for garnish

DIRECTIONS:

Combine tequila, Citrónge, lime juice and agave nectar. Rim margarita glass with salt and fill with ice. Pour mixture over ice with strainer and garnish with a lime wedge and jalapeño.
