Asador, located in the Renaissance Dallas Hotel has rolled out their brand-new fall menu complete with seasonal hand-crafted cocktails. Among that rollout is the Texas Smoked Rose, a colorful beverage featuring Texas bourbon, mezcal, fresh lemon, a wine float and garnished with a rosemary sprig! This drink is a mixture of fresh and warm flavors sure to get you in the fall spirit!
1.5oz of Texas bourbon
1 oz of mezcal
.5 oz fresh lemon juice
.5oz Texas red wine
Add Texas bourbon, mezcal, and fresh lemon juice into a shaker with ice and shake hard until well-chilled. Strain into a rocks glass over fresh ice. Slowly pour the Texas red wine over the back of a bar spoon so that the wine floats on top of the drink. Garnish with a rosemary sprig and lightly torch the leaves to release savory, aromatic notes.
