Snapchat geofilters are now available at the JW Marriott San Antonio Hill Country Resort & Spa.

Geofilters allow Snapchat users to inform their followers where and when they are someplace with a fun font to represent the area. Whether in a private video or picture to a friend, or on their public story, it’s a quirky way to let people know what you’re up to. Snapchat has recently made it possible for its users to create exclusive geofilters for their events and celebrations.

The filter design will be included in wedding packages and can also be added to group and meeting packages. Wedding and event planners can choose from available designs or even create their own concepts; the resort takes care of the rest.

Snapchat has quickly become  one of the most popular apps among smartphone users of all ages. More than 100 million people use the app daily, and Snapchat has more than 10 billion video views per day with an average of 9,000 photos shared on the app every second.

Kimpton Hotel Van Zandt is now incorporating fun musical features into its meetings. Programs for groups include “Soundtracked,” which has a playlist customized by the music and social programming director for a group’s meeting space and “Anthem” where groups create a new company theme song with percussion instruments.
