Engage with peers and leaders in Plano, Texas, during this learning and networking event.

The Texas Association of Convention & Visitor Bureaus has announced the location of its 2023 Winter Conference. Attendees will gather in Plano, Texas, from January 17-20, 2023. The yearly event gives destination marketing organization staff and leadership the opportunity to learn from expert presenters, meet industry mentors, and find camaraderie in an atmosphere of learning and innovation.

The TACVB’s mission is “to elevate and empower our members through education and collaboration.” To that end, at the 2022 conference they introduced a new format for the event called Master Classes, in which attendees took deep dives into topics and interacted with presenters and peers in small group settings. The format, which will continue in the 2023 Winter Conference, allows for problem solving and networking in a way that encourages attendees to engage with one another. Group solutions from these workshops result in actionable ideas that attendees can apply after the conference.

Workshop topics have yet to be announced but will include leadership, sales, and marketing. Attendees can learn practical skills to improve the performance of their organization and get peer input on current challenges. Unlike the TACVB Annual Conference, the Winter Conference is open to members only.
