VERTS Mediterranean Grill Expanded to Offer Off-Site Catering

Co-founders Michael Heyne and Dominik Stein launched VERTS Mediterranean Grill in 2011 to bring fastcasual Mediterranean food to locations such as Austin, Dallas, San Antonio and Houston. Now the restaurants will provide off-site catering at special events throughout Texas. Offerings include a full Mediterranean buffet for up to 200 people, as well as a boxed lunch for smaller working groups.

LA Rams Football Stars, First Guests at Waterfront Hotel

Rams football legends Rosey Grierm Dennis Harrah, Nolan Cromwell and LeRoy Irvin along with their teammates were the first guests to stay at the newly-opened Shade Hotel Redondo Beach.

“It was an honor to welcome the Rams Legends as our very first guests at the eagerly awaited phase one opening of Shade Redondo Beach,” said Michael Zislis, owner of Shade Hotels. “We are excited to have the Rams back in Los Angeles, and it was a magical way to celebrate the pinnacle opening of our newest Shade Hotel.”

—.75 oz. lavender syrup
—.75 oz. lemon juice

DIRECTIONS:
Muddle cucumber. Top with soda and stir. Garnish with edible flower

ILEA Member Inducted to CIC Hall of Leaders at IMEX America

Richard Aaron, CSEP Emeritus, MFA,  and member of the International Live Events AssociationI will be inducted into the Convention Industry Council Hall of Leaders at IMEX America, Oct. 18–20, in Las Vegas.
