Lunar and Planetary Science Conference to Be Held in The Woodlands for Ninth Year

Planetary scientists from all over the world will come together at The Woodlands for the 48th Lunar and Planetary Science Conference March 20–24 at The Woodlands Waterway Marriott Hotel and Convention Center. The annual conference brings together international specialists to present the latest results of research in planetary science. It has been a focal point for planetary science research since 1970. It is a key meeting group for The Woodlands Convention and Visitors Bureau.

The Statler Appoints Leadership Team

The Statler in downtown Dallas named Evan Danziger general manager and Jennifer Wasserman as director of sales and marketing. The boutique luxury hotel is currently undergoing a $225 million renovation and is anticipated to open in spring 2017.

The Sanctuary Lands Among the Stars

Forbes Travel Guide awarded The Sanctuary at Kiawah Island Golf Resort with five stars for the ninth year in a row. The Sanctuary was also received five diamonds from AAA for the 11th year in a row.

Forbes Travel Guide also awarded The Spa at The Sanctuary at Kiawah Island Golf Resort with five stars for the ninth year in a row. The resort’s high-end steakhouse, The Ocean Room, earned both Forbes Four Star and AAA Four Diamond awards (there are no five star or five diamond steakhouses).
